This easy-to-make homemade salsa recipe starts with a few canned items and ends with fresh tomatoes for the absolute best tasting restaurant-style salsa. It has the perfect texture with both cooked and fresh flavors. It’s a perfect blend and it’s my favorite tomato salsa ever.

Ingredients For This Homemade Salsa Recipe:

2 14 oz. fire-roasted diced tomatoes, gluten-free
4 oz. chopped green chiles, gluten-free
⅓ of a bunch of cilantro, chopped
½ white onion, chopped
1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon cumin
½ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
4 Roma tomatoes or 2 large tomatoes, chopped

How to Make The Easiet Homemade Salsa Recipe:

Tomatoes, chiles, and other ingredients in a food processor to make an easy homemade salsa.

Add canned tomatoes, chopped green chiles, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, cumin, and salt to a large food processor or blender.

Chopped white onions and cilantro added to other ingredients in a food processor to make salsa.

Then add the chopped onions and cilantro and pulse for 10-15 seconds.

Ingredients for salsa that have been pulsed in a food processor.

Everything will be lightly chopped and blended.

Chopped tomatoes on top of the other ingredients for easy salsa all in a food processor.

Next, add the fresh chopped tomatoes and pulse for 5-10 seconds.

Fresh made salsa that was made with both canned tomatoes and fresh tomatoes in a food processor.

With just a few seconds of pulsing, everything will be combined just perfectly and just the right size. This recipe makes around 5 cups of the most amazing salsa.

How long will this homemade salsa last?

Keep it sealed in a container in the refrigerator and it should last for up to a week.

Ingredients

2 14 oz. fire-roasted diced tomatoes, gluten-free

Instructions

Add all of the ingredients, except the fresh tomatoes, to a large food processor or blender.  Pulse for 10-15 seconds. 

Add the chopped fresh tomatoes and pulse for 5-10 seconds. 

Can be served immediately or chilled. Store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
