They also have beautiful flowers on them that bloom at night and wilt by morning. Dragon fruit is delicious to eat by itself, or to freeze and turn into a dragon fruit smoothie or smoothie bowl.

Ingredients

  • 1 – 3.5 oz. frozen pitaya pack
  • 1/2 cup frozen tangerine or mango
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
  • 6 ounces coconut water (6-8 ounces)

Instructions

  • In a high powered blender add the dragon fruit frozen pack, frozen pineapple, frozen tangerine (or mango). Add 6-8 ounces of coconut water and blend until smooth. Serve the dragon fruit smoothie right away.

  1. If using tangerine, peel the tangerine then separate it and place it on a plate in the freezer for 30 minutes and transfer to a freezer bag until ready to use.
