What is wahoo?

My husband likes to fish in Mexico and often comes back with wahoo.

Wahoo is related to mackerel. In Hawaii, it’s called “ono,” meaning “good to eat.”

It’s a mild-tasting fish that’s often compared to chicken or veal in flavor.
